The scientific event, successfully launched in 2024, is aimed mainly at gastroenterologists, hepatologists, internists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, nutritionists, radiologists and all health staff interested in liver diseases and how they are diagnosed and treated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Br\u00edgida Navarro, head of the Gastroenterology Service at HOMS, reported that the scientific event is endorsed by the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), the Dominican Society of Gastroenterology (SODOGASTRO), the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH) and the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along the same lines, Dr. Christie Perell\u00f3, director of the Hepatology Unit at the HOMS Digestive Studies Center, explained that the course was created to improve and update health professionals&#8217; knowledge of liver diseases and their complications.
