If necessary, personal data is shared securely with the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">24\/7 user Support and Assistance Center: a specialised team available at all times to handle reports, provide support and follow up on any case before, during or after a trip request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Identity verification and data anonymisation: the app validates the identity and information of new driver users with official documents, always protecting everyone&#8217;s privacy by anonymising phone numbers when users contact each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sharing the request with trusted contacts: passenger users can send trip request details to family or friends in real time, increasing their sense of safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Audio recording: allows passenger users and driver users who authorise it to record audio and, if necessary, share it with the authorities through an official request. Recording can be activated manually or automatically, as the user prefers, and is stored for 30 days under strict data protection protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Safety is a priority for DiDi in the country and throughout the region, responding to one of Dominicans&#8217; main concerns. To this end, the app has developed a robust ecosystem of features that help prevent risks, report incidents and access help in real time, always protecting your data and information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We understand that safety is a shared responsibility. That is why we invite all passenger users and driver users to learn about and use the features available in the app. In the region alone, we have allocated more than 15 million dollars in 2025 to keep strengthening our capabilities and continue offering a safer experience,&#8221; said Pablo Lamuraglia, Director of Safety for DiDi Hispanic America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to these initiatives, 99.99% of trips requested through the app in the region end without safety reports. In addition, between January 2024 and today, the rate of minor reports has fallen by 50%, reflecting the positive impact of the technology tools implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.didiglobal.com\/do\/\">About DiDi<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DiDi is an app offering technology solutions with an impact on mobility, available in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and other global markets.
