Over the past year, the app consolidated its place in the country&#8217;s urban dynamics, making it easier for passenger users and driver users to connect in order to meet travel needs and earn additional income in Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, the DiDi app is presenting its 2025 results, which reflect sustained adoption of its technology options, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/web.didiglobal.com\/do\/\">DiDi<\/a> Express, Moto and Pon tu Precio. The year&#8217;s results confirm how the app continues to position itself as a tool that keeps pace with the evolution of cities and adapts to different moments of the daily routine. During the year, almost <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">180,000 new<\/mark> passenger users connected to the DiDi app in the Dominican Republic, consolidating its position as a technology alternative that has an impact on everyday travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout 2025, Dominicans travelled more than 68 million kilometres using the mobility solutions available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.didiglobal.com\/do\/\">DiDi<\/a> app, with Santo Domingo recording the highest volume of requests during the year. Fridays account for the largest number of trip requests, especially in the afternoon, showing greater demand at the end of the week and an increasingly natural integration of the app into daily life, whether for work, social gatherings or personal commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The Dominican Republic&#8217;s performance in 2025 confirms that technology can create real value when it responds to local dynamics. Today, the DiDi app accompanies more people in their daily lives, offering options that adapt to the way cities move and evolve,&#8221; said Douglas Quesada, communications manager for DiDi in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead to 2026, the DiDi app will continue strengthening its presence in the country with a comprehensive approach, aimed at making life easier for those who use the app and continuing to raise safety standards on every trip request. To this end, the app includes features such as audio recording during the trip (In Trip Recording), risk geocells, trip sharing with up to 5 trusted contacts, an emergency button and a 24\/7 Emergency Centre, as well as artificial intelligence tools that analyse anonymised information, identify possible risk patterns and help prevent incidents, reinforcing the trust of the passenger users and driver users who connect through the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.didiglobal.com\/do\/\">About DiDi<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DiDi is an app offering technology solutions with an impact on mobility, available in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and other global markets.
