On the surface these are very simple tips, but they are the fruit of 30 years of experience in corporate and business life, as well as observation, and bad and good times, my own and other people&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>We often think something has to be complicated to work; we look for recommendations from extraordinary gurus, yet good practices are found in everyday work. That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m sharing with you what I consider the AFWAY: the way things are done at AF Comunicaci\u00f3n, the result of a long track record of hard work, which is no less tremendously effective for being simple.<\/p>\n<h5>I invite you to read them and give me your vote of confidence by putting them into practice.<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>Follow-up is key to an excellent result: average intelligence + continuous follow-up = a successful result.<\/li>\n<li>The boss&#8217;s matters are not delegated.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the budget well and looking for savings, without lowering quality, are key to a company&#8217;s survival.<\/li>\n<li>Put agreements with suppliers and clients in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Check spelling and writing carefully: remember we are a communication company.<\/li>\n<li>When forwarding an email or attaching a document, check it again before pressing send.<\/li>\n<li>Never get into the &#8220;ring&#8221; with your client. Whoever fights with the client loses, even if they are right.<\/li>\n<li>Treat everyone you deal with well, especially suppliers; they are your allies.<\/li>\n<li>Pay on time.<\/li>\n<li>Reply to every email; just writing <em>received<\/em>, <em>thank you<\/em> or simply <em>I don&#8217;t have an answer yet<\/em> is enough. Always return phone calls.<\/li>\n<li>Keep files in order and only print the documents you need.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you get acknowledgement of receipt for emails and documents you send.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s always time to complicate things: sometimes the simplest option can be the best.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of what you are given: once you are trusted with a project or task, you are responsible for delivering it on time and to the expected quality.<\/li>\n<li>You can be creative by improving what exists.
