The Promerica Pay platform is the first to connect with Visa&#8217;s global hub, highlighting the importance of the relationship between Visa and Grupo Promerica regionally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">This digital payment service is also integrated into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitbit.com\/global\/us\/technology\/fitbit-pay\">Fitbit Pay\u2122<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.garmin.com\/en-US\/garmin-pay\/#:~:text=Garmin%20Pay%20is%20a%20contactless,nothing%20needed%20but%20your%20watch.\">Garmin Pay\u2122<\/a> wallets, allowing customers to turn their smartwatches into a means of payment without cash or a physical card. Fitbit Pay\u2122 and Garmin Pay\u2122 functionality is available for iPhone and Android phones, making Banco Promerica a market pioneer in offering this service through these platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In its first version for the Dominican Republic, Promerica Pay is enabled for Android smartphones with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and for the VISA card portfolio. For the Fitbit Pay\u2122 and Garmin Pay\u2122 wallets, the service is available on both iPhone and Android phones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"> &#8220;Banco Promerica is committed to continuing to drive digital transformation in its payment products and services, in order to give customers unique, differentiating and secure experiences that go beyond expectations. As an example, we have launched our Promerica Pay digital wallet and integrated our products into other wallets such as Fitbit Pay\u2122 and Garmin Pay\u2122,&#8221; explained Carlos Julio Camilo, executive president of Banco Promerica Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">To use the service, cardholders&#8217; VISA credit and debit card information is linked to the phone through an easy, fast enrolment process with high security standards that digitalises the card on the device.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">When paying with Promerica Pay, customers should tell the cashier they will pay contactless with their phone.
