Each beneficiary will receive two coupons, to travel to their vaccination centre and then return home. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The initiative, called <span style=\"color: #ff7d41\"><strong><em>&#8220;DiDi Vac\u00fanate&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/span>, aims to support the National Vaccination Plan being implemented by the Government and is part of a US$10 million international fund that DiDi has set aside to support local immunisation drives in the countries where it is available. Each coupon is worth up to RD$150, adding up to a donation of more than RD$2 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;We are constantly looking for new ways for our technology platform to have a positive impact on the communities where we operate. With this initiative, we renew our commitment to the Dominican Republic and its fight against COVID-19. This time we are focusing on getting older adults around, as they are one of the most vulnerable populations and most in need of adequate, safe transport to vaccination points,&#8221; explained <span style=\"color: #3cdcbe\"><strong>Pablo Mondrag\u00f3n<\/strong><\/span>, DiDi&#8217;s General Manager for Central America and the Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #3cdcbe\">How can it be used?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To access this benefit, users must have downloaded the <span style=\"color: #ff7d41\"><strong>&#8220;DiDi Pasajero&#8221;<\/strong><\/span> app (available on the App Store and Google Play). They must then complete a form within the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">app<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, in the &#8220;Help&#8221; section, uploading a photo of their ID card and, if possible, proof of their vaccination appointment. If the request is made by a caregiver, they must upload images of both ID documents. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once internal checks have been carried out, which can take up to 48 hours depending on the volume of registrations, the two coupons will be credited to the account. App users will be notified by email when the form is available so they can apply for the benefit.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;We are very hopeful about making this contribution, which will benefit those who need it most at a key moment. At <span style=\"color: #ff7d41\">DiDi<\/span> we don&#8217;t want mobility to be an obstacle to people getting vaccinated.
