{"id":12731,"date":"2021-06-01T12:49:12","date_gmt":"2021-06-01T16:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/uncategorized\/public-and-private-sectors-give-massive-backing-to-5th-health-tourism-congress\/"},"modified":"2021-06-01T12:49:12","modified_gmt":"2021-06-01T16:49:12","slug":"public-and-private-sectors-give-massive-backing-to-5th-health-tourism-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/en\/press-room\/public-and-private-sectors-give-massive-backing-to-5th-health-tourism-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"Public and private sectors give massive backing to 5th Health Tourism Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Nearly 60 companies and organisations are supporting this biennial event, which aims to foster innovation, competitiveness and quality standards in the country&#8217;s health and tourism services.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Santo Domingo, May 2021. &#8211; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <span style=\"color: #38a4a4\"><strong>5th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress<\/strong><\/span>, to be held on <strong><span style=\"color: #4ea848\">Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 June 2021<\/span><\/strong>, has received significant backing from the value chain driving the health and wellness tourism sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Various public and private sector institutions will take part in and sponsor this biennial event, organised by the <span style=\"color: #38a4a4\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/adtusalud.org\/en\/\">Dominican Health Tourism Association (ADTS<\/a>)<\/strong><\/span> and the Communications and Public Relations firm <a href=\"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #38a4a4\">AF Comunicaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Ministry of Tourism, Banco Popular, Seminsa, Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago, Seguros Reservas, Banreservas, Wellmed, the Diabetes, Obesity and Specialties Medical Centre (CEMDOE), Arium Health, Humano Seguros, CapCana, Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud, The Panam\u00e1 Clinic, Global Medical Dominicana, Instituto Espaillat Cabral, Central Romana Corporation, Integra, Curatech, Ureval, Referencia, Diss, Mall\u00e9n and Grupo Rescue are supporting the fifth edition of this congress. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Banco Central, Worldcare, Seguros Universal, AFP Siembra, Cedimat, M\u00e9dico Express, ProDominicana, Ducto Limpio, Primera ARS, Meli\u00e1 Punta Cana Beach, Amadita, Banco Lafise, Farmacia Carol, Advanced, Cemeraf and Olga M. Vi\u00f1as Certified Translator have also confirmed their support. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speaking about the support received, <strong><span style=\"color: #4ea848\">Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso<\/span><\/strong>, president of <span style=\"color: #38a4a4\"><strong>ADTS<\/strong><\/span>, said <strong><span style=\"color: #38a4a4\">&#8220;<\/span><\/strong><em>health tourism has been steadily consolidating in the country, and the pandemic has shown the need to keep reinventing ourselves, moving forward and strengthening ties between the public and private sectors, encouraging investment in new projects that create jobs and technology transfer, and building closer links with the main source markets for tourists and patients<\/em><strong><span style=\"color: #38a4a4\">&#8220;<\/span><\/strong>.
