This year, the Instituto Espaillat Cabral was recognised as the first centre internationally accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), which exceeds the international standards required in the practice of medicine with a special focus on patient safety.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Safe Tourism Assistance Plan&#8217;, run by Mitur, Asonahores, Banco de Reservas and Seguros Reservas, was also honoured.
