The congress aims to build a global communication platform for the industry and promote the rapid development of <strong>5G<\/strong> and <strong>digital transformation in Latin America<\/strong>. Latin American operators, regulators, industry organisations, 5G ecosystem partners, analysts and media partners attended the congress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focusing on the theme<\/strong> MBB Empowers Digital Latin America, leading 5G operators and industry representatives gave keynote speeches sharing their 5G success stories and exploring the path to ICT digital transformation in Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the first operators to put 5G into commercial use, <strong>LG U+<\/strong> of South Korea spoke about the key factors in pioneering 5G. 5G operators in Latin America, including <strong>Vivo Brazil<\/strong> and <strong>Telecom Argentin<\/strong>a, showcased innovative and leading 5G business cases in different regions. <strong>Green Packet<\/strong>, an application service provider, shared its insights on accelerating 5G FWA monetisation. GSMA Intelligence, an authoritative analyst institution, explained the value of the 6 GHz spectrum and future industry trends.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Huawei<\/strong> <\/span>has launched a series of 5G and 5G-ready products and solutions for diversified MBB spectrum scenarios in Latin America. In TDD large-bandwidth continuous spectrum scenarios, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000\">Huawei&#8217;s<\/span> <\/strong>next-generation TDD extremely large antenna array (ELAA) with <span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong><em>Massive MIMO<\/em> technology <\/strong><\/span>improves performance and reduces energy consumption. In <strong>FDD legacy spectrum evolution scenarios, the FDD ultra-wideband multi-antenna solution (4T-8T-Massive MIMO)<\/strong> maximises spectrum value. In addition, <span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Huawei<\/strong> <\/span>provides an intelligent multi-band coordination solution, <strong>HashBAND<\/strong>, to deliver an optimal user experience in scenarios where <strong>FDD and TDD<\/strong> frequency bands coexist.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of <strong>Claro Peru, Vivo Brazil, the Mexican Senate&#8217;s Science and Technology Committee, GSMA and Huawei<\/strong> discussed the theme <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>&#8220;The 5G Path: Lighting up Digital LATAM&#8221;,<\/strong><\/span> sharing their ideas on how to build high-quality 5G networks.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-generation experience is the foundation of high-quality 5G networks, <em>and large-bandwidth<strong> Massive MIMO<\/strong> <\/em>is essential for operators to build high-quality 5G networks.<\/p>\n<p>As more 5G spectrum becomes available, 5G will thrive in Latin America.
