{"id":12804,"date":"2022-07-27T15:39:01","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T19:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/uncategorized\/agenda-announced-for-the-2nd-latin-american-digital-health-congress\/"},"modified":"2022-07-27T15:39:01","modified_gmt":"2022-07-27T19:39:01","slug":"agenda-announced-for-the-2nd-latin-american-digital-health-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/en\/press-room\/agenda-announced-for-the-2nd-latin-american-digital-health-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"Agenda announced for the 2nd Latin American Digital Health Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Representatives from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic will take part in this congress.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>July 2022.-<\/strong> <strong>Arium Salud Digital<\/strong> and <strong>AF Comunicaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong> presented the agenda for the <span style=\"color: #99cc00\"><strong>2nd Latin American Digital Health Congress, &#8220;The Road to Comprehensive Digital Transformation&#8221;<span style=\"color: #000000\">,<\/span><\/strong><\/span> to be held on 6 and 7 September at the Hotel Intercontinental in Santo Domingo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Fedor Vidal, CEO of <span style=\"color: #99cc00\">Arium Salud Digital<\/span><\/strong>, announced that this edition will open with remarks from the <strong>Minister of Health, Dr. Daniel Rivera,<\/strong> and will feature <strong>35 speakers<\/strong>, who will analyse the impact of COVID-19 on digital health, the cybersecurity challenge, telemedicine and remote second opinions, and technologies and value creation in the patient experience, among other topics that foster process improvement and an appropriate response to the sector&#8217;s present and future needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Vidal, the congress organiser, said there will be seven panels made up of representatives of different health and technology organisations and three keynote lectures: &#8220;2022 Trends: Understanding the post-pandemic digital world&#8221;, &#8220;Digital Transformation of the Health Sector: A practical look at where to start&#8221; and &#8220;Health data governance&#8221;, given respectively by Rogelio Uma\u00f1a, a Costa Rican consultant in communication, digital marketing, strategy and social media; Gast\u00f3n Gabin, CEO of INTEGRA; and Jos\u00e9 David Montilla, Vice-Minister for Agenda Digital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Amelia Reyes Mora, president of<\/span> AF Comunicaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica,<\/strong><\/span> said that alongside local leaders there will be international experts from Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico. She added: &#8220;Just as we have contributed to positioning health tourism as a country brand, we are working to raise awareness of the impact of digital health in order to boost the competitiveness of the Dominican Republic&#8217;s health offering and encourage the involvement of all players.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <strong>Vice-President of the Dominican Health Tourism Association (ADTS)<\/strong> also said the congress will have strong local participation, with contributions from Dr. Mario Lama, executive director of the National Health Service (SNS); Eladio P\u00e9rez, Vice-Minister of Collective Health at the Ministry of Public Health; and Eddy P\u00e9rez Then, director of the School of Medicine and Research Centre at Universidad O&amp;M. Also taking part will be Rafael Mena, a paediatric intensivist and telemedicine expert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Likewise, Patricia Gonz\u00e1lez, executive president of Amadita; Juan Gabriel Gautreaux Mart\u00ednez, executive director of the National Cybersecurity Centre; V\u00edctor Rojas, executive vice-president of Seguros Reservas; Dr. Olivier Ronveaux, PAHO representative; Juan Estrada, senior director at Massachusetts General Hospital; and Martha Machorro of the Compa\u00f1\u00eda Mexicana de Radiolog\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Also participating will be Dr. H\u00e9ctor S\u00e1nchez Navarro, deputy director of HOMS; Dr. Gricely Pozo, medical director of CEMDOE; Dr. Jos\u00e9 Natalio Redondo, president of Grupo Rescue; and Dr. Hamid Feiz, president and CEO of IDA Healthcare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">They will be joined by Luis Alicea of AbartyHealth, Puerto Rico; Rafael Arag\u00f3n of Hospital Austral, Argentina; Adolfo Llin\u00e1s for Fundaci\u00f3n Santa Fe, Colombia; Elder Guerra, a security expert from Guatemala; and Massimo Manzi of Promed, Costa Rica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Fedor Vidal and Magdalena Rathe, technical adviser to OSES, will present the study &#8220;The state of digital health in the Dominican Republic&#8221;, the first publication to analyse the needs of the public and private sectors and show the status of care processes in service provider organisations and the insurance and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as their digitalisation and digital transformation priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #99cc00\"><strong>Moderators<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The panels will be led by Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, president of ADTS and medical vice-president of Seguros Reservas; Dr. Nepomuceno Mej\u00eda, medical director of Hospital General Plaza de la Salud; Dr. Jos\u00e9 Rafael Yun\u00e9n of Grupo Yun\u00e9n; Dr. Juli\u00e1n Javier, medical director of the Naples Cardiology and Endovascular Centre; and Dr. Javier Potes, director general of the Consorcio Mexicano de Hospitales.
