It focuses on task automation, microservices and other tools \u2013 hence Everything as a Service, the theme of this event celebrating three years of <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">A CNCF report shows that 81% of companies used cloud-native infrastructure in 2021, and 95% are using it or plan to. Liu said <mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Huawei Cloud&#8217;s<\/strong><\/mark> customer base grew by 103% and its number of partners by 93% in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The cloud-native era is approaching, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Looking ahead to the next decade, <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">cloud, AI, 5G and IoT<\/mark><\/strong> may become the key technologies for our whole society and economic growth. <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The cloud<\/mark><\/strong> is the most important infrastructure for the digital economy,&#8221; said Liu. &#8220;Our strategy to support business in Latin America is to embrace cloud native with Everything as a Service: think cloud native, act cloud native,&#8221; he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong> executive said organisations should embrace the cloud for accelerated development, as intelligent digital technology is the future. Globally, <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> has integrated more than 240 services and more than 50,000 APIs to bring the latest AI, application development and big data technologies and development tools to the cloud. <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud&#8217;s<\/mark><\/strong> innovation and experience will help more organisations move to the cloud in a more agile and better way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">By the end of the year, <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong> will have deployed 29 regions and 75 availability zones. Its cloud service is available in more than 170 countries worldwide. In Latin America, <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> has the largest number of local regions from north to south, with 3 regions in Mexico, Chile and Brazil, and local zones available in Argentina and Peru.<strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> is committed to building a global network that allows <strong><mark style=\"color:#8a0404\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> services to be accessed within 50 milliseconds from anywhere in the world. Companies will no longer need to build their own data centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed, the company announced that in 2023 it will open two new availability zones (AZs) \u2013 locations with one or more data centres \u2013 both in Latin America. It also confirmed the construction of a third public cloud data centre in Chile and a new point of presence (POP) in Colombia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;So far, we are the only cloud provider that can deliver such low latency to customers in Latin America, which is key to customers adopting and moving to the cloud easily,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">&#8220;Everything on the cloud.
