(SODOCARDIO)<\/mark><\/strong> brought together 180 doctors at the Cardiovascular symposium &#8220;From ischaemia to heart failure&#8221;, with more than 15 speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">With the aim of strengthening the prevention and care of cardiovascular disease through activities and projects that promote scientific knowledge, studies and registries, as well as campaigns, meetings and congresses aimed at improving people&#8217;s cardiovascular health, <strong><mark style=\"color:#004369\" class=\"has-inline-color\">SODOCARDIO <\/mark><\/strong>brought together experts from different fields dedicated to preventing and mitigating heart conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The organisers reported that the event was held at the <strong><mark style=\"color:#e5c700\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo<\/mark><\/strong>, with the participation of specialists and opinion leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"has-inline-color\">president of SODOCARDIO<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The first part of the symposium addressed Precision Medicine for Cardiovascular Disease Risk and the Initial Invasive Strategy in Patients with Stable Coronary Disease, as well as New Imaging Strategies for Predicting Ischaemia, and Coronary Flow and Coronary Flow Reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In addition, Dr. Rodrigo Alonso, a Chilean lipidologist and nutritionist and co-author of the 2022 cholesterol guideline, gave the keynote lecture &#8220;New Cholesterol Roadmap 2022&#8221;, presented at the <\/mark><strong><mark style=\"color:#004369\" class=\"has-inline-color\">World Congress of Cardiology 2022<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The final focus of the meeting was cardiac arrhythmias. The experts discussed Tachycardiomyopathy, an Underdiagnosed and Reversible Cause of Heart Failure, and the Management of Patients with Ventricular Arrhythmia and Prevention of Sudden Death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The event was supported by <mark style=\"color:#e5c700\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>EUROFARMA<\/strong><\/mark> laboratories.
