Exhibition 2023<\/mark><\/strong>, the year&#8217;s most influential <strong><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">health information technology <\/mark><\/strong>event, where they shared knowledge and experience on the sector&#8217;s latest trends and innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The problems of the<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> <\/mark><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">health sector<\/mark><\/strong> need technology to drive solutions,&#8221; says <strong><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Fedor Vidal, CEO<\/mark><\/strong> of<strong><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> Arium Salud Digital<\/mark><\/strong>, who has attended <strong><mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">HIMSS<\/mark><\/strong> for 17 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">He also noted that all leaders in the sector face the same challenges, problems and struggles, so at <strong><mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">#HIMSS23<\/mark><\/strong>, which featured some 250 educational sessions, they discussed opportunities to work together, driving<strong> <mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">digital transformation<\/mark><\/strong> to change the way healthcare is consumed and used, impacting more than 600 million lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about his participation in the summit, held in Chicago, <strong><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Vidal <\/mark><\/strong>said: &#8220;This year was very special, not only because of all the familiar faces, innovative technologies, exponential change and the challenges we face globally; it was exceptional because we had the wonderful opportunity to sponsor the <strong><mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">LATAM <\/mark><\/strong>dinner with more than 50 health leaders who are transforming the fastest-growing region in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">He added that the most relevant focus areas become more complementary every year, including artificial intelligence, provider burnout, lack of resources, access problems and system adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong><mark style=\"color:#17885e\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> Arium Salud Digital<\/mark><\/strong> executive also took part in meetings with<strong> <mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">HIMSS LATAM<\/mark><\/strong> leaders on integrating the Dominican Republic into the Latin American community and bringing the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (<strong><mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">EMRAM<\/mark><\/strong>), the highest standard of digital health certification, to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">At the event, which brought together professionals from every part of the global healthcare ecosystem, including CIOs and senior executives, more than 1,000 technology suppliers showcased innovative health technology products to solve the sector&#8217;s biggest challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"color:#006499\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS)<\/mark><\/strong> is a non-profit organisation whose goal is to promote the best use of IT and management systems in the health industry.
