In the second half of this year, we will launch new AZs in Brazil, Mexico and Chile. By then, <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> will have 11 AZs in Latin America,&#8221; said <strong>Fernando Liu, President<\/strong> of <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud Latin America<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The press conference took place during <strong>COMPASS<\/strong>, an event organised by <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Latin America<\/mark><\/strong> in China so that guests from the region could interact more closely with people from China&#8217;s IT industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> now has around 1,400 local partners and 5,000 customers in the region. These solutions are expected to bring new experiences, efficiency and models to customers in the region, says Liu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>William Dong, Chief Marketing Officer<\/strong> of <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong>, says <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> is also strong in cloud-native capabilities. As an advocate and pioneer of cloud-native technologies, <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> held a special event for the Latin American chapter of<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> <strong>Cloud Native Elite Club (CNEC) <\/strong>during the <strong>COMPASS<\/strong> summit.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Cloud native<\/mark><\/strong> will be the new oil driving the local digital economy. More and more companies will build and scale their services on the cloud. Through<strong> Cloud Native Elite Club (CNEC)<\/strong>, <strong><mark style=\"color:#c70000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Huawei Cloud<\/mark><\/strong> will partner with industry organisations such as <strong>CNCF <\/strong>to introduce Latin American companies to the latest technologies, best practices and industry trends, with the aim of enabling more cloud-native start-ups,&#8221; said Dong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keith Chan, Regional Director<\/strong> of <strong>CNCF<\/strong>, shared his insights into the cloud-native industry, and technical professionals from China and Latin America held in-depth exchanges about their own practices.
