When we study the possible reasons for this progress, we find it coincides with events that have revolutionised the rise of technology, such as COVID-19, which led to much greater use of it.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the current uses of this technology were also presented, which helped the audience better understand its scope and advantages.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6 wp-block-paragraph\">Industries that have already benefited from <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">5G adoption <\/mark><\/strong>include manufacturing, through the use of <strong>AGVs (Autonomous Guided Vehicles);<\/strong> and, as a second example, mining, with self-driving trucks that deliver high performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7 wp-block-paragraph\">He also mentioned ports, where <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">5G<\/mark><\/strong> has been used to operate cranes automatically \u2013 there are still operators, but it makes the work more efficient; and the fourth industry, telemedicine, where thanks to <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">5G<\/mark><\/strong> there is equipment (for example, in Thailand) that sends all the patient&#8217;s information to the hospital from the ambulance before it arrives, so staff already know the patient&#8217;s condition.
