said Ricardo Hern\u00e1ndez, MD, a cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> health sector <\/strong>is among the nine industries that use <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">AI<\/mark><\/strong> the most, mainly in the areas of <strong>healthcare delivery and medical testing and diagnosis.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Among the study&#8217;s <strong>findings<\/strong>, of the <strong>84% of Hispanics<\/strong> who have noticed positive changes in their health with <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">AI<\/mark><\/strong>, a majority (56%) use <strong>monitoring technology<\/strong>, a majority (61%)<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <strong>count their steps every day<\/strong><\/mark>, another majority (52%) <strong>measure their heart rate regularly<\/strong> and around half (43%)<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <strong>track their calorie intake.<\/strong><\/mark>   <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8936\" style=\"width:371px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Dispositivos-de-monitoreo.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The survey reveals that among <strong>Hispanics <\/strong>who use health apps, a quarter (29%) feel more <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">relaxed about their health and fitness<\/mark><\/strong> and another quarter (27%) are more aware of the need to take time to <strong>reduce stress and relax.<\/strong> A majority (55%) started <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">exercising more often<\/mark><\/strong>, a third (34%) now pay more attention to <strong>getting enough sleep<\/strong> and another third (33%) are <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">improving their eating habits.<\/mark><\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New technologies<\/strong> in <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">health<\/mark><\/strong> are here to stay, and another of their great advantages is that they reach underserved groups and reduce racial and ethnic disparities in the quality of care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Although it is exciting to think about how<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> AI <\/mark><\/strong>could help in <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>healthcare<\/strong><\/mark>, it is important to bear in mind that <strong>no technology can replace the clinical judgement of a trained health professional<\/strong>, as the specialist has a comprehensive understanding of the patient, their environment, their <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">psychology<\/mark><\/strong> and <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">even their culture<\/mark><\/strong>,&#8221; World Report<\/em>.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Methodology:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An online <strong>survey<\/strong> was conducted among 1,000 Americans from the general population aged 18 and over. Respondents were nationally representative in terms of age, gender, region, education, household income, race\/ethnicity and urban\/rural residence. An oversample of <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>African Americans<\/strong> <\/mark>and<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> Hispanics <\/mark><\/strong>was <strong>collected<\/strong> to reach a total of N=250 for each. The online <strong>survey<\/strong> was conducted by Savanta and completed between 10 and 21 November 2023.
