the end of 2023, <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">more than 300 commercial 5G networks had been launched worldwide,<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> serving more than 1.6 billion users. <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">5G<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> development is now well advanced, with the growth rate of global <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">5G<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> users reaching seven times that of <strong>4G<\/strong> users over the same period. <strong>Operators using Huawei solutions ranked first for network experience in tests carried out in 2023 by a well-known organisation in key cities in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands<\/strong>. <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> has also worked with leading operators and industry partners around the world to find innovative solutions that meet the higher requirements of new applications and scenarios for<\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color industries and homes. In <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Hong Kong,<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> operators have also completed <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">5.5G 10 Gbps<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> speed tests and verification on the<\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> C-band and mmWave<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> and have begun providing <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">5.5G<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> FWA services.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Europe,<\/mark><\/strong> Finnish operators have completed verification of <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">5.5G<\/mark><\/strong> technology on commercial networks, reaching a peak rate of more than <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">10 Gbps<\/mark><\/strong>, and have verified passive <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">IoT<\/mark><\/strong> technology. In Germany, operators on the 6 GHz band have also reached a peak speed of <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">12 Gbps <\/mark><\/strong>using<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> multi-carrier<\/mark><\/strong> techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> will also launch the industry&#8217;s first telecom foundation model at<\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> MWC. <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">This foundation model will offer role-based and scenario-based intelligent applications to support the industry&#8217;s demand for agile service provisioning, precise user experience assurance and efficient operation and maintenance across all domains.
