In this regard, <\/mark><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/consumer.huawei.com\/en\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Huawei&#8217;s<\/mark><\/a><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">priorities in Latin America are to provide technology-leading, secure and reliable <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">ICT<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> infrastructure products and solutions, promote inclusive connectivity and enable people to enjoy convenient, high-quality network services.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">&#8220;We look forward to working with local partners to further drive the digital transformation process in Latin America through continuous technological innovation and to make a greater contribution to the development of the local digital economy,&#8221;<\/mark><\/em><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> said Zhou.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">During a meeting with regional media attending <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">MWC, <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">the senior executive stressed that <strong>in the era of the digital economy, nurturing and developing digital talent is particularly critical<\/strong>. For this reason, Daniel Zhou <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">of Huawei<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> highlighted <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Huawei&#8217;s <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">commitment to continue strongly promoting digital talent programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean. To date, the company has worked with more than 20 ministries and 400 universities to provide <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">ICT <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">skills training to more than 2,400 people.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Over the past year,<\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> Huawei <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">has grown steadily in Latin America and remains committed to building<\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> ICT <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">infrastructure and promoting wider connectivity in the region. For example, <strong>it worked with local operators to deploy the world&#8217;s southernmost<\/strong><\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"> 5G <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>base station in Chile and connect the network to remote areas<\/strong>. In digital transformation, with more than 7,400 partners, it has driven the digital transformation of industry, including smart agriculture projects in Brazil and Jamaica. In addition, <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Huawei<\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> has worked with governments and non-governmental organisations in Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador through the <\/mark><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">TECH4ALL <\/mark><\/strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">project to protect the natural environment and local biodiversity using information and communications
