This achievement is the result of public-private collaboration, driven by quality, innovation, international accreditations and the development of world-class infrastructure,&#8221; said Dr Cambiaso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For her part, Amelia Reyes Mora stressed the fundamental role of communication in the sector&#8217;s success: &#8220;Strategic communication has been a pillar in positioning health tourism locally and internationally. Through a comprehensive, ethical and specialist strategy, we have consolidated the sector&#8217;s trust and competitiveness, projecting the country as a reliable, competitive destination and a point of reference in health tourism.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, institutions and individuals who have stood out in the development of health tourism were recognised. The HOMS Health Wellness Center was honoured for its innovative vision in bringing together a medical complex, a hotel and a convention centre under strict international standards, with Dr Rafael S\u00e1nchez Espa\u00f1ol receiving the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Henry Gallardo was also recognised for his leadership at the International Hospital Federation, along with the Fundaci\u00f3n Santa Fe de Bogot\u00e1 and its work in knowledge transfer and international cooperation in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event brought together senior government authorities, sponsors, members of the diplomatic community, investors, exhibitors, representatives of the health and tourism sectors, and national and international guests, creating an environment conducive to exchanging experience and strengthening the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Congress<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 7th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress has the support of more than 60 sponsoring brands and media partners. The agenda includes seven panels and three keynote lectures, with national and international experts taking part.
