The gathering became a space for reflecting on the achievements of the year and the economic outlook for 2025. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was led by Carlos Julio Camilo, executive president of Banco Promerica, who highlighted the entity&#8217;s main milestones during 2024, as well as the challenges and opportunities it foresees for the coming year. In the same vein, we have received three upgrades to our risk rating in the last three years. He also highlighted the entity&#8217;s digital transformation, which included improvements to its digital banking and the addition of innovations in payment methods, such as the launch of Apple Pay in the Dominican Republic. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event featured a special appearance by Ra\u00fal Ovalle, a leading economist and managing partner of the firm Analytica, who gave a talk entitled: \u201cOutlook for an economy without reform: global, monetary and fiscal challenges in 2025\u201d. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ovalle analysed the main economic variables that will influence the performance of the Dominican economy, among them the behaviour of interest rates, fiscal stability and the impact of changes in the global economy.
