{"id":3527,"date":"2018-05-17T16:07:20","date_gmt":"2018-05-17T20:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/?p=3527"},"modified":"2019-09-02T18:20:32","modified_gmt":"2019-09-02T22:20:32","slug":"adompretur-greets-4th-international-health-and-wellness-tourism-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/en\/press-room\/adompretur-greets-4th-international-health-and-wellness-tourism-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"ADOMPRETUR greets 4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dominican Association of Tourist Press (Adompretur) welcomed the celebration of the Fourth International Congress of Health and Wellness Tourism and defined the sustained growth of that segment as one of the new strengths of the hospitality industry in the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to the journalistic entity, during the last years, the Dominican Republic has positioned itself among the first three countries of Central America and the Caribbean in the area of \u200b\u200bhealth tourism, on the way to becoming one of the most recognized destinations in the world within this mode<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is an auspicious response to the widespread claim that the country promotes the diversification of its tourism proposal to complement its offer of sun and beach, but also not to put all the eggs in a single basket,&#8221; says Adompretur.<\/p>\n<p>Adompretur joins the local and international institutions that have agreed to support the event convened by the <a href=\"https:\/\/adtusalud.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dominican Health Tourism Association<\/a> (ADTS), chaired by Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, and by the AF Strategic Communications firm, directed by Amelia Reyes Mora. It is scheduled to take place in the city of Santo Domingo from September 5 to 7, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The activity will involve more than 40 experts, who will analyze the global perspective of health and wellness tourism, the challenges and opportunities of its human capital, the Dominican offer of health services, as well as Innovations in the insurance, financial and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/en\/adompretur-recognizes-adts-for-advances-in-health-tourism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ADOMPRETUR recognizes ADTS for improvement in health tourism<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also, they will discuss the reputation of the destination and the importance of well-being in the hotel industry, among other issues that raise the diversification of the Dominican tourism offer.<\/p>\n<p>The Congress agenda includes an exhibition by the Vice President of the Republic, Margarita Cede\u00f1o on the importance of public-private partnerships in health tourism, and a presentation by the Executive Director of the National Competitiveness Council, Rafael Paz, with the results of the First Study of the Competitiveness of the Dominican Republic in Health Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the congress, a private lunch will be held with the support of the Dominican Popular Bank (BPD), the National Council of Export Free Zones, with a panel presented by Luisa Fern\u00e1ndez and CEI-RD, aimed at local and international investors, aimed at Identify resources for new health tourism projects, free zones of medical devices and communities for retirees.<\/p>\n<p>Adompretur&#8217;s statement is endorsed by its national managers, Luis Jos\u00e9 Ch\u00e1vez, president; Manuel Quiroz, vice president; Millizen Uribe, secretary-general; Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Reyes, director of institutional relations; Ram\u00f3n Ch\u00e1vez, director of Finance; Augusto Valdivia, training director; Yenny Polanco Lovera, director of culture and tourism; Wendy Mora, event director; Blanca Gonz\u00e1lez, director of public relations; and Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Torres, director of regional affairs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/congresoadts.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-979 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/afcomunicacion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/1080x628-2-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"157\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dominican Association of Tourist Press (Adompretur) welcomed the celebration of the Fourth International Congress of Health and Wellness Tourism and defined the sustained growth of that segment as one of the new strengths of the hospitality industry in the country.
