As part of the celebration of the VIII World Congress of Medical Tourism of the Medical Tourism Association (MTA) in the city of Orlando, Florida, on September 30, 2015, the first guide to health and wellness tourism of the Dominican Republic, and in turn Latin America.<\/p>\n

This first health tourism guide is a publication of the Medical Tourism Association (MTA), which offers information that certifies the Dominican Republic as a reliable international medical tourism destination.<\/p>\n

The publication is designed to educate international patients about the process of receiving health care in the Dominican Republic, from the moment they investigate the destination, options of qualified and certified health centers that have international departments, as well as hotels and centers of recovery, cultural, budgetary aspects and most frequent concerns of health tourists.<\/p>\n

The guide<\/a> has a wide diffusion and international visibility and is the ideal tool to help international patients in the process of choosing a reliable health provider, without waiting lists, that has high technology, high quality services, cost-effectiveness and security, with the possibility of recovering in a destination characterized by its beautiful beaches and the professionalism and warmth of its health personnel.<\/p>\n
