Cleveland Clinic ranked the world’s No. 2 hospital for the sixth year in a row

• Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Cleveland Clinic Fairview are also among the world’s top 250 hospitals.

March 2024, Cleveland, OHIO: Cleveland Clinic has been ranked the No. 2 hospital in the world for the sixth year in a row on Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2024 list, and was also recognised for its commitment to the patient experience.

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Cleveland Clinic Fairview are also recognised among the world’s top 250 hospitals. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is ranked the No. 1 hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to its global rankings, Newsweek also ranked the best hospitals in the United States, including Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital at No. 45.

The rankings are based on surveys and data from hospitals in 30 countries.

Newsweek’s rankings are based on four data sources: online surveys of more than 85,000 medical experts worldwide; patient experience surveys; hospital quality metrics; and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), which patients complete to measure their perception of functional well-being and quality of life.

In other rankings published in September 2023, Newsweek rated Cleveland Clinic as one of the world’s best hospitals for specialised care. Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2024 ranked Cleveland Clinic in all 12 specialties, including cardiac surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, neurology, obstetrics and gynaecology, pulmonology, urology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, oncology and paediatrics.
