Arium Health and the Dominican Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology: a step forward towards digital health

• Arium Health and the Dominican Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology signed an agreement to digitalise medical protocols and move towards digital health.

SANTO DOMINGO. – Technology services company Arium Health and the Dominican Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SDOG) took an important step towards digitalising the health system in the Dominican Republic by signing a cooperation agreement to promote high standards in information systems and the digitalisation of medical protocols related to obstetrics and gynaecology services.

Under the agreement, Arium Health will advise SDOG on implementing digital platforms in the health sector through guidance, education and collaboration in selecting the best options available on the market. It will also contribute to the Congresses held by the society, which is affiliated with the Dominican Medical Association, with content on digitalisation, technology and new clinical trends, among other topics.

For its part, SDOG undertakes to provide human support for the digitalisation of its medical protocols. It will also support the development activities, congresses and training carried out by the consultancy.

Fedor Vidal, CEO of Arium Health, expressed his satisfaction at formalising the agreement, as it will create opportunities for growth and progress and optimise medical services through the digitalisation of processes.

For his part, the president of the Dominican Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Jorge Vargas Guzmán, highlighted the importance of such collaborations for joining efforts towards best medical practices in obstetrics and gynaecology services, as well as strengthening both organisations on the road to digital health and so delivering greater benefits to Dominican society.
