CEMDOE launches innovative patient portal

It aims to close care gaps caused by fragmented health services, through a comprehensive care model focused on patient safety, quality and experience.

Santo Domingo, March 2022.- To provide comprehensive service and make things easier for patients, the Diabetes, Obesity and Specialties Medical Centre (CEMDOE) has made available to its users a web platform for viewing laboratory test results and imaging and diagnostic study reports online.

On the website cemdoe.com, at the top right, there is a MiCEMDOE option where patients, using their record number or email address, can view the results of laboratory tests, ultrasound, X-rays, CT, MRI, bone densitometry and mammography, as well as cardiology diagnostic study reports carried out at the centre.

Speaking about MiCEMDOE, Horacio Marino, CEMDOE’s chief operating officer, said: “Innovation is part of our centre. We have a comprehensive care model focused on patient safety, quality and experience. We also have state-of-the-art technology and highly trained professional, technical and support staff to provide a better service.”

He added that CEMDOE seeks alternatives to make things easier for patients and so reduce care gaps caused by fragmented health services.

Thanks to the fully digitalised and innovative service model, through CEMDOE’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR), doctors will also have access to the results of tests their patients have at the centre.

On the website cemdoe.com patients can also book appointments and explore the many specialties the centre offers the public.
