Enjoy the Colonial Zone with DiDi

• DiDi invites people to enjoy the Colonial Zone with coupons redeemable on rides.
• More than 20 venues will take part in the “Bar Hopping a Zonear”, with a varied offering of food, cocktails and culture.

Santo Domingo – DiDi has launched the ZONEARCONDIDI promotion to make it easier for Dominicans and tourists requesting rides through the app DiDi Pasajero to visit the Colonial City’s bar, gastropub and restaurant route. The initiative will run on Fridays and Saturdays in March, April and May.

From 4 March, the “Bar Hopping a Zonear”, organised by the Colonial City Bars and Restaurants Association (Abzocol) will offer a food, cocktail and cultural experience, with more than 20 businesses taking part, including bars and even rooftops in the area. They will offer visitors a varied line-up of live music, DJs, flash theatre performances and karaoke, in a plastic- and foam-free environment.

“Our goal is for users to enjoy this cultural and entertainment experience without worrying about driving or finding somewhere to park. Thanks to this wonderful initiative by Abzocol, we hope many people can rediscover the Colonial Zone that gives Santo Domingo its unique charm,” said Carolina Murillo, DiDi’s senior communications manager for Central America and the Caribbean.

Simply by entering ZONEARCONDIDI in the promo codes section of the app, users can use a one-time coupon worth up to 50% of the value of their ride request through the app, up to a maximum of RD$140. To use the code, the ride must start or end in the Colonial Zone.
