Santo Domingo, August 2017.- High-performance tires gain space in the streets, in the hands of car-loving consumers, when they were previously used exclusively in racing circuits. For those looking for pleasure in driving, with precision and stability, without sacrificing safety, the new Michelin Pilot Sport4 S arrives this month in the South American market, equipping sports cars.
“In a scenario where the industry constantly seeks the development of products and services, the Michelin Pilot Sport4 S tire arrives to conquer the new benchmark position in the segment, offering maximum performance in both dry and wet floors,” explains Ana. Paula Guimarães, Marketing Director of Michelin Latin America.
According to Anoildo Mattos, Marketing Manager of Michelin Latin America, “when we talk about the sports segment, high performance, speed, and perfection are attributes that appear in the first place. NEW MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 S
“Frequently opposed in the segment of sports tires, features such as durability and safety evolve together in the Michelin Pilot Sport4 S, fully translating the Michelin Total Performance philosophy, which consists of offering exceptional performance on each tire,” says Ana Paula.
Technologies that guarantee the best performance
The ‘Bi-Compound’ technology consists of the application of two different types of rubber on the tread, for better safety, which when combined, help repel water on wet floors; and on the external side, a new hybrid elastomer for exceptional dry adhesion
The excellent control of the vehicle is guaranteed by ‘Dynamic Response’ technology, to ensure the transmission of the movements of the steering wheel to the tire in a much faster and more precise way.
Fulfilling the highest level of requirements and technologies, the Michelin Pilot Sport4 S was developed to satisfy owners of sports vehicles such as Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche. According to Ruy Ferreira, commercial director of Michelin Latin America
“Michelin works side by side with the most important car manufacturers to provide tires that best fit their most exclusive models.”
