An agreement is signed to promote health tourism to the Dominican Republic

The 4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress will be held from September 5 to 7 at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua hotel.

Santo Domingo, August 22.– The American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR), the Dominican Association of Health Tourism (ADTS), and AF Strategic Communication signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion and holding of the 4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress, the main activity of the health tourism sector in the Caribbean region.

The signing of the agreement, made by William M. Malamud, executive vice president of AMCHAMDR; Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, president of the Dominican Association of Health Tourism; and Amelia Reyes Mora, president of AF Strategic Communication, formalizes the alliance for the execution and promotion of the congress, which is organized by the ADTS and AF Strategic Communication and will take place in the facilities of the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua hotel from 5 to 7 September.

The congress is an event aligned with the goals of national development of diversification of the tourism portfolio and constitutes a multisectoral integration platform, public-private partnerships, business development, and great investment opportunities to strengthen the quality and safety of the services of Health for Dominicans and foreigners.

The Dominican Health Tourism Association is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of tourism and the competitiveness of the health sector through initiatives that allow the Dominican Republic to become a health and wellness destination.

The public relations agency AF Strategic Communication is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing the development and promotion of the fourth International Congress of Health and Welfare Tourism.

AMCHAMDR signs this agreement in accordance with its strategic objectives of designing and building public-private partnerships that allow the country to reach new development steps, and with its proposal of institutional value to promote access to business opportunities that allow the development and growth of its members
