Arium Salud Digital signs agreement with Médico Express

• The agreement to digitalise the innovative San Isidro health centre will support continuity of care and interconnection with the insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.

Santo Domingo. – Arium Salud Digital has signed a collaboration agreement with Médico Express San Isidro, positioning this outpatient centre at the forefront of digital transformation in the health sector, with a modern patient portal, an electronic medical record that integrates the clinical history, electronic prescriptions, a telemedicine platform and a mobile app, ensuring world-class care centred on patients and their families.

The agreement, signed by Fedor Vidal, CEO of Arium Salud Digital, and Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, executive president of Médico Express, will make it possible to align and integrate all the clinical and administrative processes of the medical centre, which is due to open in early 2024.

Also present at the signing was Francesco Fino, Commercial Vice President and founding partner of Médico Express, together with executives from Arium Salud Digital.

Vidal highlighted that the centre will be supported by a digital platform built on the most demanding and comprehensive international standards, providing sophisticated tools, data and specialist knowledge.

Dr. Cambiaso said that at Médico Express they are committed to the internationalisation, modernisation and digital transformation of the Dominican health sector.

“Technology will be a differentiating component of Médico Express. Through this agreement we will support continuity of care; the centre will be fully digitalised and we will have interconnection networks with the insurance and pharmaceutical sectors,” said Cambiaso.

International technology and digital transformation expert Fedor Vidal said that for Arium Salud Digital, this agreement is another step for the Dominican Republic towards having a new digitalised centre, seeking to transform and standardise the management of clinical and administrative health processes using the platform needed to develop a model that ensures efficient, transparent and secure processes.

Médico Express will also have telemedicine, an international department and state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment, a first for the municipality of Santo Domingo Este.
