Banco Promerica and Instituto OMG join forces to widen access to higher education in the Dominican Republic

• Banco Promerica and Instituto OMG have signed a partnership offering student loans and payment terms of up to 36 months to widen access to higher education.

Santo Domingo, May 2026 — Banco Promerica Dominican Republic has announced a strategic partnership with Instituto OMG (IOMG) to widen access to higher education in the country through flexible, responsible financial solutions adapted to the needs of students and professionals.

The initiative seeks to lower the economic barriers to starting or continuing studies, combining formal financing with payment terms that support both entry into and continuation of academic study.

Through this partnership, those interested will be able to access student loans and payment terms under the CrediPlus scheme, with interest-bearing and interest-free options, terms of up to 36 months and financing of up to 100% of the academic cost, depending on the arrangement.
