Banco Promerica opens a new branch in the Gazcue district

• Banco Promerica has opened a new branch in the Gazcue district of the National District to be closer to its clients and offer them swift answers.

Santo Domingo, September 2024 – Banco Promerica announces the opening of its new branch in the Gazcue district of the National District. This opening forms part of the financial institution’s ongoing commitment to expanding its physical presence, with the aim of being closer to clients and offering innovative products and swift answers to their financial needs.

During the opening ceremony held at the new premises, the executive president of Banco Promerica in the Dominican Republic, Carlos Julio Camilo, said: “Over the last four years, at Banco Promerica we have consolidated our presence in the country with the opening of new branches at strategic points, as well as the continuous modernisation of our physical spaces with the aim of continuing to make our clients’ transactions easier and giving them a memorable experience”,  Camilo said.

As part of its expansion plan, Banco Promerica has opened its doors in various areas, including the branches located on Máximo Gómez, 27 de Febrero and Independencia avenues in the National District, as well as the Cibao Regional Centre in Santiago and a branch located in the province of La Vega. In addition, two branches have been moved to modern premises located in Bella Vista Mall on floor 1 and in the Próceres district at Garden Plaza.

Banco Promerica’s new Gazcue branch will be located at Avenida Simón Bolívar corner of C. Cayetano Rodríguez #504, Plaza Cariba, Gazcue district, D. N. Santo Domingo and will be open to the public Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

For her part, Marielyn Portorreal, senior vice-president of Personal and SME Banking, said that the branch’s location in the Gazcue district will make it easier for clients in the area to receive more personalised, closer advice from a highly trained team specialising in offering financial solutions tailored to their needs, with the quality and speed that characterise the institution. She also said that a new branch will shortly be opened in San Francisco de Macorís, to continue getting closer to clients in that part of the country and provide a high-quality service.

With this opening, Banco Promerica reaffirms its mission of providing a high-quality service, in line with the expectations and demands of clients in an increasingly dynamic and competitive financial environment. Clients will be able to access a broad portfolio of products and services, including opening accounts, personal loans, investments and financial advice, among others.
