Forbes Virtual Cybersecurity Forum: data protection, the challenge of the post-COVID-19 era

• The 2020 Cybersecurity Forum will be held on Tuesday 14 July at 10:00am Dominican Republic time and streamed on Facebook at Forbes Centroamérica, Forbes México and Forbes Colombia.

Forbes Central America magazine, a benchmark for valuable information in the region, will present the Forbes Cybersecurity Forum, which this year will be held for the first time in a fully virtual format.

 

To feel safe from cyber threats, companies make major investments to protect themselves, which have become obsolete in the current global context, where a pandemic is forcing companies to move their most valuable information online. This has been a huge challenge for companies of all sizes and sectors, above all because the enemy is not always at home, but invisible and increasingly international.

That is why cybercrime is shaping up to be one of the main challenges of the next decade. Failing to act against it could mean the disappearance of hundreds of business organisations.

The 2020 Cybersecurity Forum will be held on Tuesday 14 July at 8:00am Central American time, 9:00am in Panama, Colombia and Mexico, and 10:00am in the Dominican Republic.
