IntraCare Center and Radonic join forces to improve cancer care in the country

SANTO DOMINGO:- With the aim of improving cancer care in the region, IntraCare Center and the Comprehensive Radiotherapy Center, Radonic, have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to optimise the referral and counter-referral of patients who need radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
Under this agreement, both organisations are committed to ensuring that patients receive timely, quality care, improving communication between doctors, hospitals and institutions.
At a meeting led by Dr. Mario Furcal, Director of IntraCare, together with Leonardo Ostropolsky and Jasmín Jiménez, Regional Manager and Commercial Manager of Radonic respectively, both health centres committed to working closely to implement a fast and efficient communication system that is constantly improving and, in doing so, revolutionises the processes and quality of the services offered.
“We know this agreement will be of great benefit to patients, which is why we are in the world of oncology; ultimately, that is what we are fighting for,” said Dr. Furcal.
For their part, the representatives of the radiotherapy centre expressed their satisfaction with the new partnership, while highlighting the work IntraCare has carried out throughout its history.
“I’m pleased with this agreement and happy to strengthen ties and share experience with an institution that has more than 22 years in the sector, has treated thousands upon thousands of patients and is committed to making every possible effort to cure and to provide the best possible treatment to people with cancer,” said Ostropolsky.
They added that this collaboration is a clear example of IntraCare’s and Radonic’s commitment to always putting patients’ health and wellbeing first.
