Banco Promerica highlights its results at FITUR 2025, reaffirming its commitment to Dominican tourism

MADRID, SPAIN: – Banco Promerica concluded its participation in the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 with significant achievements that reinforce its commitment to developing the Dominican Republic’s tourism sector. During this prestigious event, considered one of the most important in the global tourism industry, the bank focused on creating and strengthening strategic relationships with the sector’s main players, in order to continue promoting high-impact investment in Dominican tourism.
During FITUR 2025, Banco Promerica held a successful business lunch with the institution’s main clients and strategic partners in the tourism sector. The event took place at the prestigious Club Financiero Genovés in Madrid, one of Europe’s most emblematic business centres.

As part of its participation in FITUR 2025, Banco Promerica held around 25 business meetings with leaders and key players in the Spanish, North American and Dominican tourism sectors. As a result of these meetings, in the short term the bank will be evaluating investment projects worth around US$250 million, for investments in developments, infrastructure and services in the tourism industry.
The bank also took an active part in initiatives led by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism, such as the opening of the country’s stand, recognised as the best stand at FITUR 2025 and the most visited at the fair. It also attended the breakfast hosted by Tourism Minister David Collado, where the fair’s overall results were highlighted, including business worth around US$6,750 million for the Dominican Republic, among other activities and strategic meetings.
