- At a meeting with journalists, Huawei explained how its cloud drives the digital transformation of Dominican organisations and highlighted that it is the fastest-growing cloud in Central America and the Caribbean.
Santo Domingo. -Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology, held a productive discussion with journalists from the Dominican Republic, to address how cloud technologies are a catalyst in the technological development of organisations in the country and how it continues to strengthen its regional infrastructure alongside strategic partners.

Meanwhile Miguel Matos, solutions architect for Huawei Cloud in the Dominican Republic, who was a member of Huawei’s Seeds for the Future programme in 2019, highlights the impact of the project on his life and how favourably the company is regarded both in China and in Latin America.
“Huawei, here in the Dominican Republic, has become a teacher of technology in the different sectors; in Dominican Spanish, that means companies can offer better and more up-to-date services, hand in hand with the technologies Huawei offers”, says Matos.
Also present at the meeting were Rafael Vargas, Yangqing Victoria, Engi Cao and Carolina Herrera, Huawei’s representatives in the country.
