Banco Promerica República Dominicana holds its 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting and Annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

- At its shareholders’ meeting, Banco Promerica reported that it passed RD$60,000 million in assets in 2024 and led loan portfolio growth with 26%.
SANTO DOMINGO: Banco Promerica República Dominicana holds its Extraordinary General Meeting and its Annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. At this gathering Carlos Julio Camilo, executive president of Banco Promerica and member of the Board of Directors, presented the achievements of 2024, among which he stressed the extraordinary performance of the main financial indicators, as well as progress on the strategic initiatives that have driven the institution’s transformation, making it a benchmark for growth and transformation in the Dominican financial sector.
During the event, Camilo highlighted: “Over the past period we reached a notable milestone by passing RD$60,000 million in assets, one of our most important strategic goals. In our loan portfolio we once again led growth among Dominican banks with a 26% increase, more than double the market, which reached 12%. These achievements reflect our ability to generate sustainable growth on the basis of building close, long-term relationships with our clients and strategic partners”.
The meeting was attended by the shareholders and members of the Board of Directors of Banco Promerica República Dominicana, including Francisco José Martínez, president; Nelson Rhadames de los Santos Ferrand, treasurer; Edgar Zurcher, board member; Hampton Enrique Castillo Landry, board member; and Ricardo Ros, board member. Preferred shareholders and members of the entity’s management team were also present.
“Our mission and commitment is to keep innovating, growing and serving our communities with excellence and dedication. We will continue contributing from the financial sector to the economic and social development of our country”, said Camilo.
During the session, the joint work of the different stakeholder groups that have accompanied the entity’s growth was recognised. Thanks were also reiterated to shareholders, clients, strategic partners, employees and regulators for their constant support and trust over time.
