Médico Express launches the Total Scan: whole-body MRI with AI-optimised imaging

San Isidro, May 2025 – Médico Express, a state-of-the-art outpatient health centre, presents the Total Scan, an advanced whole-body MRI that offers a comprehensive, precise and non-invasive view of the patient’s state of health. This study is specially designed to support prevention, early diagnosis and the monitoring of multiple conditions, in patients with symptoms or with risk factors.

The Total Scan can help detect tumours and cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal diseases, and provide a detailed view of organs such as the brain, heart, liver, pancreas, kidneys and prostate, among others.

This new study is carried out with the Signa Prime 1.5 Tesla scanner, one of the most modern technological platforms in the country, capable of acquiring high-resolution images in less time, with no exposure to ionising radiation and no use of a contrast agent.

This equipment incorporates artificial intelligence algorithms that optimise the reconstruction and processing of images, allowing a clearer view of the body’s tissues and structures.
