- SEMINSA has introduced the Fujifilm Therapeutics line in the Dominican Republic, with devices for therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as polypectomies, biopsies and stone removal.
Santo Domingo. – The company SEMINSA has announced the introduction in the country of Fujifilm Therapeutics, a line of devices for therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
The Fujifilm Therapeutics line includes devices for procedures such as polypectomies, biopsies, haemostasis, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), stone removal and foreign body retrieval. This equipment allows greater control during interventions and makes minimally invasive techniques easier to perform.
The devices are characterised by their durability, navigability, compatibility with different procedures and improvements in control and visualisation during use. They are built with materials designed to withstand demanding conditions and to make the medical procedure easier.
At the presentation, César Montás, general manager of SEMINSA, said that “this line is born of the union of a Japanese company with a German one, and that can only have one result: excellence. Fujifilm Therapeutics marks a before and after in the therapeutic endoscopic approach in the Dominican Republic.”
With this addition, SEMINSA widens its portfolio of equipment for specialist procedures and maintains its focus on bringing medical technology into the country.
