Strategic partnership between IntraCare and CIMAT will directly benefit patients

• IntraCare Center and CIMAT have formalised a partnership that guarantees cancer patients quality chemotherapy and access to the imaging tests they need.

Santo Domingo, D.R. – With the aim of continuing to strengthen medical care in the Dominican Republic and offering services focused on quality, safety and patients’ wellbeing, IntraCare Center and CIMAT have formalised a strategic partnership that will have a direct impact on those who need it most.

The partnership guarantees cancer patients access to quality chemotherapy, as well as to all the imaging and tests needed to provide a comprehensive, patient-centred service.

Dr Mario Furcal, medical director of IntraCare Center, stressed that this agreement with CIMAT will reduce waiting times and make access to high-quality specialist treatment easier, to the benefit of patients.

Dr Furcal also underlined that the collaboration represents an important step in optimising health services, strengthening the joint commitment to excellence and comprehensive patient care.

For her part, Dr Mélida Ortiz, strategic director of IntraCare, expressed her satisfaction at the signing of the agreement, stressing that this partnership is a significant step towards a more efficient, person-centred model of care.

Dr Ortiz said that this collaboration with CIMAT, an institution known for its focus on quality of care, reinforces the shared mission of both bodies: to promote patients’ wellbeing.
