Wi-Fi 7, Huawei’s new enterprise solution for Central America

April 2024. Huawei is once again a pioneer in launching innovative services, now presenting its Wi-Fi 7 enterprise solution for Central America.
Wi-Fi 7, also known as Extremely High Throughput (EHT) IEEE 802.11be, is the latest Wi-Fi standard released to date. Although the 6 GHz frequency band has been supported since Wi-Fi 6E, the performance improvement of the new frequency band is considerable.
Wi-Fi 7 introduces a number of new technologies, such as 4096 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), multiple resource units (MRU) and multi-link operation (MLO).
These technologies help maximise the advantages of the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands, allowing Wi-Fi 7 to deliver higher data transmission speeds, lower latency and greater reliability.
The AirEngine 8771-X1T features built-in dynamic zoom smart antennas and supports up to 12 spatial streams. It can provide services simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz (4×4 MIMO), 5 GHz (4×4 MIMO) and 6 GHz (4×4 MIMO) frequency bands, reaching a device rate of up to 18.67 Gbps. The AirEngine 8771-X1T excels in innovative application scenarios such as the metaverse, extended reality (XR) remote collaboration, XR telemedicine and XR interactive teaching.

Access for multiple users and use of multiple terminals.
- AR and VR education: High bandwidth, low latency
High performance and low latency for real-time interactions.
- Industrial control: Low latency, high reliability
Lossless roaming on continuous 160 MHz networks, reliable wireless communication with remote machines.
- Telemedicine: Ultra-high bandwidth and highly reliable communications for real-time responses.
HUAWEI is one of the main contributors to the development of this new standard, which will replace the current WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E from this year and will be able to reach a maximum speed of up to 30 Gbps by combining the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands
