Huawei reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Dominican Republic towards a smarter, more connected future of work.
Santo Domingo, 26 November 2024 Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, delivered IdeaHub devices to the National Health Service (SNS) to support an efficient transition to the digital era, improving productivity and optimising the institution’s work areas.
During the handover, SNS Executive Director Mario Lama, together with SNS Director of Information Technology Nelson Pérez Acosta, thanked Huawei for this technology contribution, which will make communication and training easier for the institution’s staff. On behalf of Huawei, its CEO in the Dominican Republic, David Huang, together with Enqi Cao and Moisés Hernández Diloné, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to technological development in the country.
Huawei IdeaHub is a technology tool designed to improve communication and productivity in a range of settings, from meeting rooms to open-plan offices and classrooms. It includes multiple functions, such as projection, a whiteboard and HD remote meetings, among others. It is designed to simplify setting up and running a collaborative office and to make in-person and remote meetings more efficient.
