Vertiv announces digital talk series for data centre professionals in Latin America

Santo Domingo [14 April 2020] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, today announced a series of free webinars for data centre and telecommunications professionals, examining best practices, knowledge and tools to enable business continuity and minimise risk to critical infrastructure in uncertain times.
The Vertiv Digital Talk – Thriving Together in 2020 webinar series will run from 8 April to 10 June. A one-hour web episode will be offered each week for nine weeks, focusing on current topics in the data centre, edge computing and telecommunications industry, led by Vertiv experts.
“In these times of crisis and uncertainty, the business environment is constantly changing, affecting both strategy and objectives. The workforce is carrying out critical tasks remotely, facing potential security and operational continuity challenges,” said Yadira Suarez, marketing director for Vertiv in Latin America. “We are offering these webinars to provide information and best practices that are especially relevant during this time of upheaval, when processes have changed and many companies are supporting many more remote workers with fewer staff.”
The first episode in the series, entitled Business Continuity: Thriving Together in Uncertain Times, was held on Wednesday 8 April at 11:00am EST. Fernando García, vice president and general manager of Vertiv in Latin America, spoke about how companies are adapting to a variety of workplace changes, using new ways to enable data access, and the impact of technology on digital transformation.
